Right on the water, very nice, service was very good. The manager left a lot to be desired. She was very rude, and made snide remarks under her breath, but loud enough for us to hear. My son said she's been rude like that every time he's gone in there. It's amazing people go back! We walked in, no one at the front. We saw everyone on the back deck so we went out there. She came up to us as I was asking everyone where we should sit and she said sternly, "I prefer you sit right here." while placing our menus on the table. She also made the comment behind my back that it was nice of me to wait to be seated and I overheard her say it. Who knew! Our waitress, Sandy, was excellent though. The food is ok, nothing great, and on the pricey side, but remember we are in the "Keys". Fish & chips $12, conch fritters $9 and dry. I did see other people seating themselves with no retort from the manager...maybe it was just us she didn't care for.

We stopped in after trying another place for happy hour. We were greeted by friendly staff. We sat outside at the bar and ordered appetizers and then meals. I didn't find the prices to be outrageous. You have to remember you are eating on the water in a tourist area. Things are always going to be a little higher. We had soup, oysters, shrimp and a couple other appetizers. Everything was delicious. We had burgers and fish sandwiches for dinner and again everything was very, very good. Big sandwiches that were done to perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area. Give it a try. Of course, restaurants are always a matter of preferences. I think it is worth a try. | |
